Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it’s yours.”

  1. Ida Auclond

Oh! I didn’t know that quote by Randy Pausch! It sounds a lot like my own philosophy: “do the best you can with what you’ve got.” I heard Dr Seuss’ quote for the first time when I was in university and I must say… it helped me express myself more openly. It’s definitely one of my favourites. Great selection!

By the way, I wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Liebster Award. If you want to participate, see my blog for the rules and questions. If you don’t, it’s fine too. Cheers!

  2. Gloria

These are some of my favourite quotes too. Interestingly, these people are all well known and what we would call successful. It shows us they suffered but came through it and now we benefit from their wisdom.
