What is Entertaiment?
Entertaiment refers to an activity that is understood objectively, encompasses communication between text and audience from external stimuli, o ffers pleasure, requires an audience and occurs in a passive form.
From the escapism of a gripping novel to the cathartic experience of a musical performance, entertainment provides an escape from daily stressors. It can also be intellectually stimulating and engaging, from solving a puzzle to playing a video game that requires strategic thinking. As such, it is a dynamic concept that can be adapted to fit any scale, from a single individual choosing their own private entertainment from an enormous array of pre-recorded products to a curated banquet suited for two.
