Entertainment can include many things such as watching movies, television or other shows; listening to music, going to concerts or playing musical instruments; reading books or novels; or participating in sports or other games. It can also mean social activities or events and even the creation of visual arts. Generally, entertainment is associated with fun and laughter but it can have a serious purpose as in ceremony or religion or as satire for example. It can be adapted to any size of audience from the individual who chooses their own private entertainment to a banquet arranged for two; or to performances intended for thousands. Entertainment can even be created and shared on an international basis through internet websites such as eBay or Craigslist.
