What is Entertaiment?
Entertaiment is any activity that holds the attention or interest of an audience and gives them pleasure and delight. It can be an idea or a task, but it is more likely to be one of the activities or events that have developed over thousands of years specifically for the purpose of entertainment.
People may create their own entertainment, for example by spontaneously inventing a game; they may participate actively in an entertaining activity, for example when playing sport as a hobby; or they may passively consume an entertainment product, such as a film or a book.
